Moving on...

This may be the exact moment Oreo chose us to be her family...
Since getting married in 2001, we have moved (major moves...not moving within a local area) 7 times as of today. I thought we cleared out a lot of stuff when we moved to Guam, but compared to what we just did, that was nothing.  I believe we have 3 pieces of furniture in the container from Guam to Singapore...a desk, a kitchen cart, and an Ikea Poang chair.

Time for a bit of nostalgia...I started sorting through papers and found many of our moving documents from four years ago when we moved to Guam. I started thinking about how much we've learned and how many new experiences we've had in the last 4.5 years.

One of the very first things to happen (like within the first couple of days) was that a boonie dog (stray) adopted us and tried to follow us into our condo...and sought us out every time we went to the beach. We obviously had "sucker" written all over us...

She seems to have adapted quite well.

We've had MANY awesome hiking adventures to WWII relics, waterfalls, caves, and clifflines.

We joined Coral reef watch AND Haggan Watch (sea turtle)

There were many opportunities for sports as well. L and I both played soccer. Neither one of us lasted more than one season...

There was also Rugby..

  And SCUBA

And Sailing

 Sewing

And our biggest adventure yet, Stillwater

I just started to think about each place we've lived and the experiences we've had and the friends we've made. That's the hardest part...leaving the friends.

But we look forward to new adventures and new friends while treasuring those from our "past lives". Each place we have been has left a lasting impression and made us who we are today, for better or worse. So, thanks to all of you who have joined us along our journey! Stay tuned as we add to our experiences!
